Sheena Carroll

I joined the University of Pittsburgh Press as their Marketing Assistant after completing a year of AmeriCorps service at the Millvale Community Library. Previously, I’ve worked as a freelance writer, creative writing instructor, wig salesperson, and community outreach coordinator. Now, I do a little bit of everything related to marketing!

I hold a B.A. in Communication, a B.S. in Professional Writing, and a M.A. in English – all from Slippery Rock University. When I’m not at work, I write and perform poetry and host readings across the Pittsburgh area. My first poetry chapbook was published by CWP Collective Press in 2018. I also volunteer as a program director and workshop facilitator for Girls Write Pittsburgh.
